College students generally do not have a lot of money floating around. If you are working, you are juggling to pay tuition, rent and other living expenses while finding time to study. It can be difficult to just meet your basic needs, let alone save money.

But saving money consistently can help you to graduate from college debt free. It can open up doors so that once you graduate, you will have the skills you need to make the most of your finances. It does take discipline in following a budget, and planning for future expenses. It can be more difficult to balance your time between you job, your studies and your social life. In the end there is no greater feeling than graduating debt free, knowing that you worked your way through school.
