I Don't Make Enough to Pay My Bills

Sunday March 9, 2008

It can be stressful to realize that you do not make enough to live on. This can come as a shock if you suddenly lose your job, and you are having a hard time finding a new one or if you are just sitting down and really looking at your budget for the first time. The important thing to realize is that you can do something to change the situation, and the sooner you do the better.

It can be discouraging to be in this situation. It can be tempting to give up, but through careful planning and budgeting both for short term and long term goals you can change your situation. If you look at the larger picture you may determine you need additional training or a career change. In the short term you may move or find other ways to cut back on your expenses. Remember that this situation can be as temporary as you want it to be.
