The biggest and most important goals you set for yourself take time and effort to achieve. Many goals take more than just the hard work you put towards them, most goals take commitment of time and at least some money. If your finances are not in control, then they may be holding you back from putting in the time and energy to do the things you really want to do. For example if you want to run a marathon you need to have time to train, but if you are stressed about your finances you may be focusing more on getting extra hours at work and you put training at the end.

A financial plan, a budget and getting out of debt will make it easier to achieve your dreams. It takes the pressure off reducing your stress allowing you to focus your energy somewhere else. Although it may take work and sacrifice to get things under control in the beginning, it is worth it. You can find the focus to get your financing under control, especially if you realize that it will help you achieve your other dreams.

(1) Robin Williams says:

A goal setting is the inevitable part of everyone’s life and keeps you in right track.
Since they are achievable and measurable will give a sense of accomplishment that will keep us motivated, to achieve yet another goal. The motivation that gets by reaching one goal can be enough to take us through the next goal. That is the power of goal setting.

Financial planning and budget making also play major role in achieving our goals. As students, they have to complete their education and got a job, some students need financial assistance to accomplish their goals, so there is a need of planning and budgeting.
