The End of 2012

By December 31, 2012

Follow me on:

It's the last day of 2012. I always take a bit of time to review the last year and the things  I have accomplished, and then evaluate whether or not I am in a better position this year then I was last year. Overall, we have had quite a few financial changes in our household this year, and while we are definitely in a better position than we were last year, I think we could have done even better  with our choices.

I've already mentioned that my biggest goal in 2013 is to stop eating out completely. This is a huge challenge to  me, because I have become far too reliant on zipping out to pick up dinner instead of making it. I have other goals too that are not really finances related, and some career goals that I am going to keep working on.  It is important to find a solid support system for all of your goals and to do the things you need to in order to succeed. Small changes in your routine may make it easier to reach those goals. Simple things like laying out your exercise clothes before you go to bed, and starting dinner the night before may be the things you need to do in order to reach your goals. Have a Happy New Year!
