Apartment living has its downfalls. The noisy neighbors that come home at 2:00 am and start blasting music and dancing. The crying baby next door or the kids that run around and scream at the top of their lungs. Plus every year the rent continues to go up. The small spaces and lack of a real yard can also be a drawback to renting an apartment. if you are tired of living in a small cramped space, you may be ready to branch out and buy a home.

It is important to make sure you are ready to buy a home, that you have the money you need to make a down payment. You should also have enough money in your budget to cover repairs and take care of the extra costs that come with buying a home. When you rent, your landlord takes on a lot of the additional costs, so while renting may not be the most enjoyable thing, it may be the best option until you are prepared to purchase a home.
