Once you've decided to get out of debt, created a budget and made your debt payment plan, it should be easy sailing until you are out of debt. Right? Not really. Setting up the plan is the easiest part of the process. The hard part is following through and sticking with it. When you first start you may be really focused and committed to throwing every extra little bit towards debt. However that feeling can wear off after just a few months. It is important that you keep the momentum going so that you can really tack your debt.

It helps to reward yourself as you go along, and it helps to create a method that allows you to track your progress. There are a lot different approaches that will help you stay focused, and one of the main ones may be the desire to never have to worry about money again. Being debt free and having money save in the bank, will make it easier for you to do that. Once you come up with your plan, make a commitment to stick with it.
