Practical Debt Advice by Elizabeth McCue
- I have bought lots of books on debt related issues. This one is like a guide and helps you to work through mortgage arrears or rent. Council Tax arrears with bailiffs or Magistrate Court Fines, hire purchase or fuel arrears etc etc etc. There are then various sections explaining your options on how to deal with secondary credit debts like self negotiation or debt relief orders, bankruptcy, debt management plans or even IVA's. Its hand held and simple to follow as debt advice can be complicated. Its not that expensive either and it is relatively new so you know that the advice is sound and up to date. Try it rather than fee charging companies it actually advises against them. At a time when we all need a little advice I am finding this to be a wonderful help.

Best Financial Book I've Read
- I have read lot of financial books from my bachelors studies to my professional exams . I have found one financial accounting book of Simon & Karrenbrock , American authors, very good and very interesting, consisting of 2 volumes; Financial Accounting- Intermediate, and other Advanced. The Intermediate was of particular interest. The language and English was so styling, that you can develop to write reports. Special chapters to note were: financial statements; fund and cash management; single-entry system; errors & corrections. You can hardly surrender in your examinations in these chapters. The Accounting Federation book International Financial Reporting System (IFRS). One can learn the dictate of expression in financial reporting and language of reporting. This books of rules and standards in accounting, internationally acceptable. The language and rules are such the law proposes to have sound footing, and dependence.
